About Perkins Concrete · Clearwater, Florida · since 1989

A family name on every slab since 1989.

Warren Perkins put his name on this company on day one because the work was supposed to mean something.

Perkins Concrete has been family-owned and operated in the Tampa Bay area since 1989. When you hire us, you work directly with the owners. Thirty-seven years and more than 12,000 projects later, that hasn’t changed.

A concrete contractor is easy to forget once the truck leaves. A slab stays where it was poured for decades, so the name attached to it matters. That is the whole idea behind the company, and it is why the owners are the people you talk to, from the first call to the last wash-down.

Who answers for the work

The people who sign the estimate are the people on the job.

  1. OwnersYou work directly with the owners. Not a project manager, not a crew foreman.
  2. CrewThe company still runs with the same licensed crew and the same workmanship standards it started with.
  3. LicenseVeteran owned licensed contractor, License #CPC1457580, as stated on the company's own site.
  4. WarrantyEvery job is backed by a workmanship warranty.

What we check first

We look at the ground before we look at the finish.

Most concrete failures in Florida trace back to two things: inadequate sub-base preparation and drainage that wasn’t designed into the project from the start. A good-looking surface over a bad base is a repair call waiting to happen.

So every job starts with a site evaluation of the soil, the existing drainage and the grade, regardless of size. A small walkway gets the same look as a pool deck.

It also keeps us honest on repairs. When the problem is settling, structural cracking or a drainage failure, a surface patch won’t solve it. We find the cause on site and give you a straight answer before recommending a scope.

How a job runs

Three steps, in this order.

  1. 01

    Free On-Site Estimate

We come to you, assess the project, and give you a clear, honest quote. No pressure, no obligation. Residential estimates are in your hands within 36 hours. Commercial work gets its estimate within 10 business days.

  2. 02

    Custom Plan

Design, materials, and timeline are settled before a single tool hits the ground. The site evaluation from step one decides the sub-base and the drainage. The finish is chosen after that, not before.

  3. 03

    Built to Last

From site prep to finishing, you stay informed throughout. Forming, pouring, finishing and curing are all done by the same crew. We don't leave until it's done right.

From a customer since 2019

“They do a FANTASTIC job. Not just once, but every single project.”

Miss B, in a Google review quoted on the company’s own site

She hired the company for a foundation and block walls on an addition, a back yard patio, an extra driveway, a redone driveway, and later her mother’s driveway with a connected patio. Her review credits Warren and Jeff with prompt communication and with working side by side on what the family wanted, with proper permits pulled and no issues after.

Repeat work from one household is the kind of reference a contractor can’t manufacture.
